MEET THE FOUNDERS

Brian & Amanda Morgan

At twenty-four, Brian walked into a Lakeland church homeless and half-drunk. A man named Kenny invited him to coffee, then spent a year discipling him. Through that friendship, Brian met Jesus and his life changed.

Years later, while serving as a youth pastor, Brian encountered the Person of Jesus study. It deepened his faith, softened his character, and inspired him to start a Jesus Circle with his students. Since 2021, he has served as a local missionary, building Jesus Circles across Central Florida. Brian lives in Lakeland with his wife, Amanda, and their two children.

Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, Amanda spent thirteen years as a School Psychologist in the public school system, later taking a brief role as a Mental Health Coordinator at a local charter school. Eventually God called her out of education and into ministry alongside Brian.

Before joining him in ministry, Amanda watched her husband transform as he immersed himself in the Person of Jesus study. When he began facilitating an intergenerational class, she joined him and came to know Jesus’ humanity in a way she had never experienced before.

Amanda and Brian have two children and they love watching their kids put into practice what they’re learned from the Person of Jesus study - seeing people, extending compassion and acting on it. For Amanda, the study has been a conduit of transformation in her marriage and her family.
